Do you feel everything is changing around you, especially this year, 2025? It’s like life doesn’t always move in a straight line – there are so many twists and turns. And this year is clearly surprising us. Well, let us be honest: not all changes always feel welcomed. Some days make us feel that no matter how hard we try, but it is getting difficult to stand still.
How are these changes making you feel?
For some of you, maybe you are facing a new chapter you didn’t really ask for – a job change, a new relationship or simply taking an existing relationship to the next level. Some of you maybe facing a big move altogether. For me, I think it is that quiet and unsettling feeling, that things are no longer how they used to be. Earlier it didn’t make sense at all, and my mind was restless. But now it has started to feel, everything is connected – as if everything is how it is supposed to be, as it is part of a bigger purpose.
You are not alone
If this feeling feels familiar, know this – YOU ARE NOT ALONE IN THIS JOURNEY. These winds of change bring uncertainty, people leaving, jobs changing, and plans falling apart. New challenges show up unexpectedly in your life. Have faith – we are all in the same boat. You need to take a deep breath.
Change isn’t always easy and pleasant. It really has the power to shake us completely. So many emotions – anger, anxiety or grief can surface. The simplest of things can make us feel heavier. Remember, the only way to survive it is to go through it. Whatever you are feeling right now makes perfect sense, and it is okay to be not okay.
Try these simple ways of staying grounded and try to reconnect with yourself. These have truly helped me come back to myself when the world around feels too much.
🌿 1. Come Back to the Present and Breathe
Sometimes life, work, kids , relationships and everything around us move ahead in such a way that it gets difficult to cope. The simplest way to bring yourself back is by deep breathing.
Take a moment for yourself : close your eyes, take a deep breath through your nose and hold it for a few seconds, then exhale gently through your mouth. Repeat the process slowly and mindfully. You can do this for 5 – 10 minutes daily and feel the difference yourself. It may not fix all your problems instantly but bring some peace in your chaotic day.
🧡 2. Create Little Moments of Grounding
A small everyday ritual can act as your lifeline. You don’t need big, fancy things; small acts of self-care can bring you back to the present. Some simple ideas are:
- A cup of tea or coffee in the morning
- Watering the plants
- Taking a short or long walk
- Practicing Yoga
- Listening to your favourite chants or Mantras
- Meditating
- Reading a book or listening to your favourite songs
- Journaling
- Cooking a meal for yourself or ordering in
đź’› 3. Let your feelings flow freely
At times, we pretend everything if fine, even when it’s not. It is okay to feel dull, low, angry, anxious, lost or overwhelmed when everything around is changing. It’s natural to feel this way.
When you can’t speak your heart to anyone, try writing it down. Let your thoughts do the talking. Write every detail that bothers you and let the real you out. Just feeling what you are feeling is enough. It may not fix everything yet, but you’ll feel more grounded and alive.
There’s no “right way” to process change. Emotions don’t follow a schedule.
🤝 4. Stay Connected to Who and What Matters
In times of uncertainty or days when we are overwhelmed, we just isolate us. But the people who care for you will always want to walk with you, no matter what.
When you are having a hard time, send a message or give a call. Being heard or seen will remind you that you are not alone on your path. Try to find your way back – YOU ARE STILL YOU.
🕊️ 5. Let The Season Be What It Is
Every hard moment doesn’t need to be turned into a breakthrough. Small steps, like just getting through the day, are enough. Some days are meant for growth while others are meant to rest, reflect and be gentle on yourself.
Like seasons shift, they are not constant, so will you.
🌄 6. Trust That You’re Still Becoming
To become new and better versions of ourselves we are often pushed by CHANGE. It may bring pain or fear, but eventually, it will help you become a better version of yourself—maybe not immediately, but surely. It’s okay to not have all the answers.
Trust your mind and soul. Have faith that while everything around you is shifting, something inside you remains steady, ready and strong.
🌱 Food for Thought
Keep reminding yourself that you are going to be okay. You are allowed to rest and pause in between. One small step at a time is enough.
You are not failing, You are HUMAN.
Just keep showing up for yourself with patience, courage and begin each day with a grateful heart. You’re doing much better than you think 🙏

Awesome compilation by Ms. Nidhie Tahim. She is not only a master of her craft but also has tbe proper skills to narrate what the craft really tells her to people like us. She is truly remarkable and I would say is able to feel the pulse like a good Dr. and narrate into great remedial actions.
