Street Food

The contentment after eating street food is immense. If we are happy, out of excitement we are tempted to eat out. But, there are times when we are sad so, in order to change our mood, our friends and family cheer us up by ordering or eating food from outside. We all have our favorites and our cravings keep changing.

The next day turns into a nightmare because the result is food poisoning. We often ignore the health hazards and after-effects of consuming our favorite food like Golgappe, Momos, chowmein, bhelpuri, and the list go on. The most common effects of this food type are gastrointestinal problems, acidity, stomach bloating, stomach ulcers, nausea, vomiting, obesity, diarrhea, anxiety, and depression.

We end up spending a double amount of money by visiting the doctor, giving him consultation fees and buying the medicines than the actual amount spent on buying our favorite food item. So, we repent that time we suffer from stomach infection and question ourselves as to why did we eat that item?

At that time, remind yourself – THERE IS MORE TO LIFE THAN STREET FOOD

The happiness of eating street food will be short-lived whereas if you eat healthily the happiness will last forever. It will help you in maintaining your weight too.

Whenever food comes to your mind and you feel like binge eating, think of all the other aspects of life and distract yourself. The lifestyle change doesn’t happen in a day. Divert yourself to all the beautiful things life has to offer you and how you can make a difference. Because there is much to life than just eating.

Travel to a place you have never been with your loved ones or go on a solo trip. Go on a road trip and make it happen. Take all the risks you can and do some adventure sports like bungee jumping, river rafting, biking, trekking, camping and many more which will help you feel alive again

Find a way to seek your energy each and every day, regardless of whether it is research, practice, or work. Take out time every day to take a shot at your interests else it will be much harder to commit your life to time.

EAT TO LIVE AND NOT LIVE TO EAT – Repeat this phrase to yourself

Be happy and find happiness within yourself. Try not to find happiness in food. Life becomes meaningful if you try to find yourself. Renovate your life and pursue your passions. Treat yourself and spend time with family and friends.

Find the right balance in your life. Listen to your favorite music and take breaks at work. Connect with people and give life a thousand reasons to smile.

A healthy reminder to yourself – HEALTH IS WEALTH
