If there’s one thing my own journey has taught me, that nothing really stays the same for too long. Life always finds a way to shake things up, especially when I feeI like I have it all figured out. Sometimes those shifts brought me excitement, joy, and new possibilities. Other times, they make me feel heavy, struggling and exhausted.

But life has taught me one thing very clearly: shifts will happen but they won’t last forever.

The moments when it feels like the ground has been pulled from beneath you – it’s usually in those — in-between, uncertain and uncomfortable times— that the 3 C’s of life make themselves known: Change, Chaos, and Choice.

1. CHANGE – The Uninvited Guest (Our Teacher)

This uninvited guest rarely asks for permission. It simply enters our lives in unexpected ways – a relationship, a lost opportunity, a new job or even a version of ourselves we no longer recognise. Some changes come softly, others are sudden – happening in the blink of an eye, leaving us wondering what just happened. It takes a while to absorb it.

I have had those moments where change felt so unfair, where I desperately wanted to hold on to what was familiar hoping it would last forever. But time has a way of teaching things too. I realised this a little late: Change is NEVER THE ENEMY. It is a DOORWAY. It gently whispers, YOU ARE READY FOR SOMETHING NEW, EVEN IF YOU CAN’T SEE IT YET.

We can’t always control when change happens, but we can choose how we Respond. Instead of resisting, leaning into change can open new doors we never imagined were possible.

2. CHAOS – Best friend of Change (The Storm)

Let’s welcome the Best Friend of our uninvited guest – CHAOS. With change comes chaos. They go hand in hand. Chaos is that part of life where nothing makes sense. It’s messy, uncertain, overwhelming and uncomfortable. I have been in that space where my routines shattered and I had no idea where my life was headed. But it was in that chaos I realised – this is where my growth happens. Chaos hasn’t come to break me.

To plant a new seed, the soil has to be stirred. Chaos comes to transform our lives. It tears away what no longer serve us and pushes us toward who we were always meant to be. Chaos is like a gentle notification from the universe, telling us that transformation is underway, even when it feels like everything is falling apart.

3. CHOICE – The Secret Superpower (The Bridge)

Finally, we arrive at the part where you are given control : CHOICE. Right in the middle of change and chaos, we always have a choice. When life becomes unpredictable, we still hold the power to choose our response. Our choice becomes the bridge between what was and what will be.

You can see endings as new beginnings or pause instead of panic. You will always have the option to choose kindness over anger, even when anger which feels easier. There will be moments where you must choose courage over fear, especially when fear screams the loudest.

Each decision – small or big – shapes the way forward. Choosing patience, hope, courage, kindness, and perspective are the secret superpowers that carry us through.

A Gentle Reminder 💫

Change will happen. Chaos will test you and follow you. But Choice will always be yours. The 3 C’s act as a reminder – while we can’t script every chapter of life, we can author how we show up in each one.

So the next time life gives you lemons, instead of asking, Why Me? Please say, Try me!

Ask yourself, while standing in the middle of change and chaos :

What is this trying to teach me?

To create a better tomorrow what choices do I need to make?

What will move me closer to the life I wish to create for myself?

✨ Because in the end, the 3 C’s aren’t here to DEFEAT you — they’re here to shape you into the strongest, truest and wisest version of yourself.

  1. Nidhi’s ability to simply narrate the most complex issues that affect one’s life is simply commendable. Not only she is able to narrate her own experiences beautifully but also help others is what is so worthy of mention!
