As we welcome the Year 2020, there are so many thoughts and realizations with the coming of the new year. We try and make so many resolutions but how many do we actually follow or fulfill? A week already has passed by, I myself also thought of doing so much, but let’s see how it goes. I was traveling on New Year’s and while on the way back and the experiences I had there, it made me think and realize that Time is too precious and we should value it as much as we can.
Do you believe that whatever happens in life, what we go through whether it is good or bad, Time does not wait for anyone? And usually, when we are sad the time doesn’t pass and when we are happy, time just flies.
Time is limited and precious
I once read somewhere, that the greatest gift you can give someone is your time. Because when you give your time, you are giving a portion of your life that you will never give back. I feel it is so true. These days no one has the time. Everyone is so busy in their daily routines, families and extended families. People only wish on special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries and that too on Whatsapp. I personally don’t like it, as that personal touch is gone. No one calls now and it is really sad. As everyone is busy doing something or the other, so text messaging is way convenient.
We should value the time we have now. In our busy lives, we forget one thing that life changes with the blink of an eye. Now that my sister and best friend are not here and live miles away, I truly understand the value of time. My in-laws stay far away too. While one is away, you realize what they really mean to you. I wish I could get some more time. We all should try and figure out our priorities and understand the true value of time.
Don’t waste your time on people who don’t value you
No moment is perfect. If you keep waiting for the perfect moment to do something, it will never come. Time really flies. Whether you want to go on a trip, study something, do a course, call or message someone, get a tattoo/piercing done/ listen to your favorite song/ eat your favorite food or any such random thing, DO IT NOW and don’t keep any regrets.

Try to seize every moment and don’t have regrets of the past or worry about the future, LIVE NOW. What has happened has happened. Think of today as a gift that is given to you. Whatever it is in your list, just start. If you want to say sorry to a friend/ arrange your cupboards/ visit your loved one/ feel like talking to a long lost friend do it. Start taking control of your life and your time. Once you start doing that, you will automatically make wise choices. When you start valuing your time, your relationships will also improve.

Honestly that happens a lot. There are days which make it hard for me to write and there are days on which the words simply flow. It is okay to take time and sometimes it is okay to be a little lost too… Thank you so much for appreciating though!
