This blog goes out to someone who – Said Yes to Love
Meet Veer, his story, thoughts on Love & meeting him made me believe in love even more.
Veer, a person so rare to find, who makes everyone happy even in difficult situations. He is the life and soul of the party which made him sociable. A tall & handsome guy, simply eye candy for the girls. Yes, there was this part of him who was totally into partying and coming home late. He had this lifestyle where he was always surrounded by friends and cousins all the time to chill. Simply not being emotionally attached to people clearly described him. He dated many girls before but never did actually feel actual love. A carefree, party animal who loved his life so much had no idea that his life was about to change.
Can one year make so much difference in someone’s life?
After having a gala time in college life, his parents never forced him to go to work. They wanted him to figure out what he truly wanted out of life. And Veer finally thought of going out for work. He joined somewhere. He was so new to everyone that hardly spoke to people around. Although he is super talkative, back then he used to keep quiet and be away from the messes of the workplace. Entering a different life altogether, he made a few friends. He had a close-knit circle.
As you know that Life goes on and waits for no one. So are the people in the workplace. They come to work for some time when they get a better opportunity they move on. Similarly, his friends moved on. It took some time but then he confided in another colleague. They were inseparable. If one went out, the other would follow and vice-versa.
He had no clue that life was about to change completely. Entering this different life and interacting with all sorts of people, made Veer change his opinions about life. His thoughts and he himself starting maturing. He realized life is just NOT about partying and stuff. It is much more than that. Gradually he started talking to more people and his views kept changing. He realized, what he thought about them and how they actually were, was completely opposite.
Some decisions change your LIFE!
The door opened to Veer changed him. He started feeling for someone. Deep inside his heart, he was really liking the new Veer. He was drawn to a person there who didn’t even have a clue about it, he noticed the little gestures, care, and concern. He observed her nature, her standing up for people she cared about. She still didn’t get it. For her, it was just hi’s and byes. He didn’t leave any chance of glancing at her. He never had the guts to casually message her.
Veer is a soft-spoken and soft-hearted person and was looking for a genuine person. In all the messes that happened at the workplace the whole day, he just took a step back and kept observing her. He noticed the minutest of details of this person he started falling for. And she was in her own world, without even knowing. He started spending more time with her friends. And this drove him even more close to her.
Her simplicity drove him towards her each day. He respected her so much and was afraid to confess as he had the fear of losing her. With the passage of time, he initiated some conversations and became a part of all that she did. He started spending more time with her.
Knowingly or unknowingly they started talking on other social media platforms. Sending each other weirdest of memes and pics all day. He realized that there were numerous similarities between them, like their likes and dislikes. Be it the songs, tv shows and even a small thing like biscuits. He smiled like never before and felt what he hadn’t felt ever in his life.
He knew of Love, because of HER
In their talks and chats, he confessed and shared all he had observed before and how much he noticed. It was like magic all over. He didn’t care what the world would think or say and just focused on her and their love. She realized how crazy she was, not noticing anything, not knowing what was in his heart all along and how much time they had missed.
“Love is when the other person’s happiness is more important than your own”
H.Jackson Brown, Jr.
Knowing Veer and the courage he had shown to confess his feelings was a beautiful feeling altogether. Veer had always judged everyone from other’s points of view. Now, he was looking at things the way he should have a long time ago.
Sometimes it is not about the happy ending, but the story!
For the show stopper line😊.Beautiful story.
